Can a cage hold two product categories at once?
Yes. A centre upright divider splits the frame into two sections, so two categories of hardware share one footprint and stay separated through putaway and picking.
Can we pick trade orders straight into a cage?
That is one of the best uses. Pick the order into a cage, plate or label it, and the whole order travels to the trade counter, the ute or the delivery run as one contained load.
Will they suit an outdoor merchant yard?
They are painted in a hard-wearing RAL powder coat as standard, with a heavier-duty coating available for frames that live outside in a yard.
Do they replace shelving and racking?
They reduce how much fixed racking you need. Loaded cages stack, so bulk and overflow stock goes vertical without installing racking, while shelving stays for small-line retail picking.
Can they be colour-coded by department or branch?
Yes, on volume runs. Colour, plates and permanent asset numbering can be set so frames track to a department, a branch or a hire fleet.
How do they travel between branches?
Frames are forkable from all sides and load two high in a truck, so inter-branch transfers move more per trip and unload in fewer lifts.
What happens to empties in a small store?
They fold flat in seconds and stack against a wall, so a store is not giving up selling space to empty frames.
