Where they work

Bulk goods, boxed stock and production lines

Mesh cages carry boxed televisions, whitegoods and appliance cartons stacked, strapped and forkable through the distribution chain — distribution centre to store, without crushed cartons or mountains of shrink wrap. On factory floors the same cages hold components between stations, so work in progress stays countable and off the ground.

Countable quantity

One cage equals one known quantity. Stocktake by frame instead of by pallet.

Drop front access

Hinged front panel opens for hand picking without unstacking the frame above.

Return freight

Empties fold flat, so a truck brings back four times the cages it delivered.

Load tested

Every frame rated, tested and stamped before it leaves the line.

Pallet cage questions we get asked

Tell us what you store, how it moves and how much floor you have. We size the cage around the process, not the other way round.

What is a collapsible pallet cage?

A steel mesh cage on a pallet-sized base with hinged sides. Loaded, it stacks three high and moves by forklift or pallet jack. Empty, the sides fold down so the cage collapses to roughly a quarter of its standing height.

Do pallet cages need to be bolted down?

No. Unlike fixed pallet racking, cages sit on your slab and locate into each other when stacked. No install, no anchoring, no engineer sign-off, and you can relocate the whole layout in an afternoon.

How much does a pallet cage hold?

500 kg on the small footprint, 1,000 kg on the standard 1,200 × 800 mm, and 1,500 kg on the large. Every cage is load tested and stamped before dispatch.

Can boxed goods be stored in mesh cages?

Yes — that is what most of our customers use them for. Cartons stack inside the frame, strap down, and travel from distribution centre to store without crushed corners or pallets of shrink wrap.

Do the cages suit outdoor storage?

Yes. Every frame is painted in a hard-wearing powder coat, with a heavier-duty coating option for yards, docks and exposed areas.

What is the minimum order?

There is no fixed minimum on the standard range. Larger runs price better, and custom footprints are quoted for volume orders only.
